How to use FreeDNS Afraid with Blogspot

After the Everydns.net merger in Dyn.com, it began charging for your actions with dns(formerly free). This time the choice fell on a free DNS service freedns.afraid.org (Blogger Custom Domain). You need to have a domain name. If you have it you can go to the next session but if you don't then you must create or buy some of domain name. Ex: wikiblogger.org be purchased at Godaddy.com.

1. What first?

The first thing you must create an account (free) here: http://freedns.afraid.org/signup/, implementation follow image below.

2. Activated email, click Add A Domain.

3. Now you to log into the domain manager, where you purchased the domain. Then Set Nameservers as follows:

NS1.AFRAID.ORG (67.19.72.206)
NS2.AFRAID.ORG (174.37.196.55)
NS3.AFRAID.ORG (72.20.15.61)
NS4.AFRAID.ORG (174.128.246.102)

4. Back freedns.afraid, conducted install follow image below.

Setting are complete now, but you need to wait for a couple seconds to to complete domain setting. In the next section I will guide settings Google Apps with freedns.afraid.org. Good luck.

Andree Ramon said...: Google AdSense, Adbrite, Chitika or another code, can't directly paste in the template code. You need to convert the code using HTML entities and you can put ads anywhere you want.
